Hello! My name is Aélis or Elise, I am an enby Multi-disciplinary artist based in Glasgow, Scotland.

Tàcharanan is my art brand. It is a Scots Gaelic word meaning 'Changlings' to reflect my ever changing mediums and style.

I currently specialise in Crochet, Knitting and other Fibre arts, but I also have a background in Illustration, Painting, Clay Work, Jewellery Making, Stick and Poke Tattoos and Wood Carving etc. I have always enjoyed being able to bounce between mediums and combine my different creative skills to make something truly unique.

I created this website on the 14th of February 2024 as a way to sell some of my earlier crochet pieces. That then developed into a full blown shop selling a wide range of pieces. Now, in 2025 this is my space to be Tàcharanan in all forms. I still have a shop section where you can shop the wares I have available. I also run this website as a portfolio and hub for my custom orders.
