The Workshop Portfolio

Tàcharanan runs creative workshops that invite participants to explore storytelling through hands-on, sustainable craft and DIY. From nature printing and guided walks to sewing, crochet, knitting, and mixed media, each session encourages mindful making and a deeper connection to materials, environment, and self.

"I want to inspire people to look within and discover the abundance of creativity they already carry. Everyone has a story to tell and a medium to tell it through, they just need to find it."

Pocket Altar Workshop

The Theme of this workshop is all about personal story. Participants are invited to learn some basic hand sewing & embroidery skills while creating a small pocket altar which tells a story of personality. I like to view it as a CV of your personal quirks and likes or perhaps just a special trinket for your eyes only. This workshop comes with a workbook for everyone to take home and continue their pocket altar journey.

Mixed Media Mood Board Workshop

This workshop centres on crafting a love themed collage that captures your story, or the story of someone you hold dear. It blends self-reflection with celebration, offering simple tools to transform lived experiences into expressive, personal art.

Nature Printing Workshop

This workshop focuses on using clay or playdough to create stamps, inspired by natural materials. Participants explore textures found in nature to build an experimental and meditative piece of art, while developing a new creative skill.

Fae The Wild

Fae the Wild was created in summer 2025 as a soft, nature-led project for those seeking a more meaningful connection with themselves and the outdoors. Rooted in inclusivity and accessibility, the events are designed to be welcoming, low-cost or free, and open to anyone who needs the space. From Gentle Walks to Bird Spotting and Environmental Art Meet-ups, each gathering offers a chance to slow down and reconnect.

Crochet & Knitting Drop-ins

As a self-taught fibre artist with six years of experience, I offer skills in both crochet and knitting, including hand and machine techniques. My approach to creating my signature style can be adapted for beginners, intermediate learners, and advanced makers alike. I also believe these crafts are highly accessible and can play an important role in reducing and repurposing textile and even plastic waste, when taught thoughtfully.

For more structured, class-style sessions, I keep groups small (5–10 people) so everyone gets plenty of guidance.

For relaxed drop-ins with no formal teaching, just tips and support , I can host larger groups of 15–25 people.
